Showing Up for Jackson County

Having a sheriff who consistently shows up for the community matters. Craig Holcomb’s presence at church gatherings, school functions, local fundraisers, and community events across Jackson County— and even the rest of our state— reflects more than just participation—it shows his true commitment to the people he serves, which is exactly what we need in our leadership roles all across the board. As Sheriff of Jackson County, Craig will be there when it matters and will dedicate his time to making sure the citizens of Jackson County are seen, heard, and supported.

Craig’s life is centered on faith, family, and community, and that same dedication carries over into his role in law enforcement. Just as Craig makes it a priority to stand beside his neighbors in everyday life in all moments, big and small. He believes a sheriff must be visible, approachable, and engaged into the community he serves. He believes that anyone’s concerns should be expressed and will give people the opportunity to voice their opinion. In his 26 years at JCSO, he has a clear understanding for what is needed and what will continue to make Jackson County a safe place to live.

Craig Holcomb’s record of showing up is proof that he will continue to stand up for Jackson County.
